Let's look at (25)

Land of geysers, impressive landscapes, breathtaking northern lights and a fauna that envies no other country in the world. By all means take a stroll through Reykjavik admiring its museums and rare churches, but for a real taste of spectacular Iceland head into the wilderness.

If your visit is more than a week long, you may consider taking the ring road that circles the entire country. If your stay is not that long, however, the Golden Circle is one of the best options for you. It covers 300km, passing through Þingvellir National Park, where North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are slowly splitting apart, creating unusual fissures. The route will also take you to the geysers at Haukadalur, the Gullfoss waterfall and the Kerid Crater Lake. Anyone up for it?
