Remote, unseen, off the beaten track places require a fair share of travelling. It’s usually a challenge to get there, and that’s what makes the experience so much more rewarding when you do arrive. Such a place exists in Belize, and we’re going to tell you how to reach it.
First step: Flights
One or two stops are required, depending on your origin airport. We provide examples of cheap dates, feel free to change them up.
✈️ From London
✈️ From Manchester
✈️ From Glasgow
Second step: Reaching the lodge
A 2 hour 40 minute drive separates your arrival airport from the lodge. The first stretch is covered by a international road that goes on into Guatemala, but once you exit it you will encounter Central-American dust roads, deep within the forests and with little to no tourists.
The last 50 kilometres on the route will take double as much time as the first 100. You get the idea.
The lodge offers airport pickup, at an extra cost – but you’ll still have to take the same adventurous route!
Book your lodge stay
Work around your flight dates and lodge availability to create the perfect Belize trip! You might want to stay the entire duration at the lodge, or split it up and explore the world-class beaches.
Here you can find an example of a week at the lodge, but feel free to change it up to suit your dates and budget.
